The rationale behind our name is a play on the role of an actual pilot and particularly:
'guidance', 'speed', 'being in control' and 'expertise'.
The objective with the logo was to show sophistication without being too serious and old-rules in a fresh/good/modern way. Our service is not run of the mill and we want our brand to exhibit this.

We focus on procedure and due process in board- and general meetings focusing on Compliance with the Companies Act and Memorandom of Incorporation (MOI)
Completion of audits on statutory records to ascertain accuracy, reconciliation with CIPC records and compliance with Companies Act.
We keep electronic recordings of all board meetings and other general meetings and compile minutes for signature.
All new registrations of private companies, incorporated companies etc.
All amendments; be it changes to directors, name changes, address changes, auditors changes, year-end etc.
We keep record of dates when annual duties are payable and submit required documents and payment on your behalf.
Recordkeeping in terms of Company Act requirements.
We provide training to boards of directors on their responsibilities, duties, powers and risks according to the Companies Act as well as training to company secretarial practitioners on CIPC administration .
Paperpilot is in existence in its current form since September of 2015 although we opened our doors in August 2013. More detail to be found further down on this page. The company was started in partnership between CA Support (a Cape Town based recruitment firm) and Sekretari, based in Gauteng.
Our dream always was to provide a cost effective, efficient and highly professional company secretarial service to a broad range of clients based in the Western Cape.
So what differentiates us? Yes, our turnaround times are quick, yes our prices are competitive and we are professional and have the required experience and knowledge. But in the first instance; we Enjoy! what we do. We enjoy interacting with our clients and it is hugely rewarding when we resolve issues for our clients.

Francois Theron started PAPERPILOT, in a different guise, in August 2013 after a career in the financial services sector with PWC, Capitec Bank and the private group of companies of Dr Christo Wiese. He attended the Cambridge programme for sustainability leadership and was invited to the Daimler World Dialogue in Stuttgart. He has completed a B.Compt through UNISA and B.A and MBA through Stellenbosch University.
Family man first; reads extensively, news junkie and completed 2 Comrades (but never again!)
As member of CA Support, Nadine is a founder and shareholder of Paperpilot (Pty) Ltd.
We started as Sekretari Western Cape in August of 2013
Appointed as Company Secretary of FinSwitch (Pty) Ltd.
During the end of 2014 and start of 2015 we did a rebranding exercise.
After restructuring and a management buy-out we rebranded to PAPERPILOT in September of 2015.
